Focal point cinema is Feilding’s very own boutique movie theatre complete with fully licenced coffee and wine bar. Established in 2007 Focal Point brings together high quality, modern cinema entertainment, a plush 1920’s decor, fantastic comfort and a warm friendly atmosphere. Focal Point Cinema is located at 81 Manchester Street, just off Manchester Square which is in the heart of Feilding.

The Coach House Museum sets out to be New Zealand’s premier collection of horse-drawn vehicles and agricultural, horse drawn equipment. The collection of more than 50 vehicles includes gigs, landaus, phaetons, carts, drays, coaches and various items of farm equipment. Many of the vehicles have been completely restored and some are in their last used state.
The purpose built museum also has a superb display of local historical photographs, re-created with modern computer technology.
Located in the Manawatu town of Feilding, the museum is open daily 1:30pm to 3:30pm for visitors and can be open at other times by arrangement. To arrange a visit or to find out more information please visit:

View the efforts being made by enthusiasts in our working museum. Includes the restored WAB 794 engine and the restoration process on 5 carriages, sleeping car and dining car. Working turntable and gantry. Special steam train trips will be run for the public around the Manawatu. The engine is available for hire to groups and organisations as a fundraising project. Feilding Railway Yards – corner Gladstone & Haybittle Streets. Open Saturday 9am – 3pm. Admission – Free (donations welcome). Other times by arrangement.
